Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.
On the Internet at Large
Starting this week off with a look into the world of Gunpla, with the titular mech from Gundam GQuuuuuuX given a shiny new look inspired by Evangelion’s EVA-01. There’s so much to love about this gorgeously smooth repaint, but we’ve gotta shout out the careful balance of EVA-01’s iconic Purple/Green pallet, hitting just the right panels in just the right spots. So damn slick.
Its always cool to see Warhams escape outside the usual hobby spaces, like this Necron Monolith painted up by Ben for the Victoria & Albert museum’s current exhibition on Ancient Egypt’s effects on modern aesthetics and pop culture. This Monolith will feature along side a Tomb King Necrosphynx and cards from Magic: the Gathering’s Amonkhet as examples of Egyptian influences in gaming. This is such a cool inclusion for a neat exhibit, and the video’s pretty darn interesting too!

Goonhammer got another shoutout by @aerithgirl over on Tiktok, with editor Rob giving some insight into the absolute logistical nightmare that is running cons and over big nerdy events as this episode of Niche Tea talks about the flaming trashfire that was the A Million Lives Book Festival.
