The Week Ending December 14, 2019

Although it’s a big internet out there, the Warhammer digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed. Here’s what we liked this week:

In the Wild:

  • Chris Buxey’s Comms Specialist
    @Chris_buxey on Twitter
    This is one of the coolest conversions I’ve seen in a while and I love everything about the choice of models, the paintjob, and the wired lighting. Just A++ work.
  • What’s On Your Table: Customized Iron Warriors Dark Acolyte
    Kyle via Faeit 212
    Kyle’s got a sweet conversion of a new Iron Warriors Sorcerer/MoP/Warpsmith and I love the greenstuff work on it. Also, Faeit is looking for submissions and light on their queue, if you’re interested in showing your stuff off.
  • Ilya AhrPriest’s Talon of Horus Art
    @ahrpriest via twitter
    Ilya did some sweet art of my favorite 40k fiction boys, the trio of not-quite-besties from Talon of Horus.
  • Sammcarr’s Red Gobbo Snowglobe
    Sammcarr20 via Imgur
    A very cool holiday converison of an already sweet model. Merry Kristmas, ya gitz!
  • The Charityhammer Streaming Event
    Charityhammer
    The Charityhammer marathon event is offering three streams of gaming starting on January 3rd to raise money for Child’s Play.
  • Scott Ferguson’s Baby Yoda Conversion
    @brushwizard via Twitter
    The title pretty much covers this one.
  • Grim Dark Filthy Casuals
    Blog
    A new blog run by a couple of guys out of the Chicago area, we like we we’ve seen so far from GDFC and their focus on stat analysis of units.
  • Coda’s Painting Stream
    Twitch
    Coda streams at weird hours owing to being in Australia, but it’s worth your time to stop in on his stream when you can. He recently did a near 24-hour marathon stream with the new Sisters of Battle box.

On Goonhammer:

Another big week, though thankfully we got a bit of a reprieve after
