Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.
On the Internet at Large
Ah June, Summer’s here and everything’s bright and sunny. We’re also one day close to Spooky Season so lets look at some messed up weirdos like this Chaos Knight from Lacainam on Reddit. Grody demon engines are always gonna have a place on CWL, and the gaping hell-maw on this one is just so damn striking we couldn’t not love it. We particularly love the pops of colour from the slain Loyalist Knight littering the victorious traitor’s base, some gorgeous contrast in both colour and cleanliness.
There’s some painters out there in the hobbyverse who really deserve a lot more, and plasticthinker on Instagram really needs more love. We’re not versed enough in traditional arts to really give a name to their style but goddamn does it pop, both parts exquisitely blended and yet distinctly delineated, with the sharp highlights placed perfectly to draw the eye. This slaps is what we’re saying, give them a follow.
Explosive Florist’s Necromunda Squat Sump Skiff
Legitimately the best part of Necromunda adding rules for vehicles in the Ash Wastes expansion by far has been opening the floodgates for the hobby wizards of the Necromunda scene to really bust loose with some kick ass custom creations to ferry their Underhive gangs around. This custom built skiff by Explosive Florist nails so many sweet spots just right, feeling like the perfect fusion of Classic Squat, Ironhead Prospector and Necromunda style.
Who out here being fleshmelded into their mfin’ hog.
