Content We Liked: 21st September, 2025

Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.

On the Internet at Large

Archmagos of ancient mechanicum
byu/nivv1 inAdeptusMechanicus

Starting this week’s roundup off on a mysterious, arcane note with this Ancient Archmagos by reddit user nivv1. Taking after Cawl on the very extreme side of being more machine now than man, this Archmagos looks like he slugged his way right out of a Blanche illustration, with his amorphous mass giving some real Dune Navigator vibes. Whatever he was before, he ain’t that now. And that owns bones.

Next up we have this Elven Lord by HyperionXVII on Instagram, cutting a sharp figure in a grimy, weathered look that you really don’t see from most tabletop elves, even those of the Edgelord Elf persuasion. This thing really nails the vibes of Elves being so ancient as to be unknowable, with the elongated proportions and masked helmet solidifying that sense of mystery. Majestically Macabre.

Ending this week’s recap on a more colourful note, we have a beautifully saturated custom chapter Dreadnaught by Thomas Gale on Instagram. Custom Chapters are always cool to see, and we’ll never not love seeing what people come up with for their own, with the Jade Vipers here rocking a fun lil’ subversion of their progenitors’ heraldry and colour scheme.
