Content We Liked: 24th September, 2023

Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.

On the Internet at Large

Starting us off this week is our once in a blue-moon Tumblr submission. An oil illustration that manages to capture just… so much of the feel of hobbying as a teenager, particularly for those of us that were teens during the late 00’s/early 10’s. A melancholy reminder of time’s passage.

Complete tonal shift time with is adorable kitbash of the equally adorable new Biovore/Pyrovore miniature, the perfect bugly base for a Spidergrot boss. A few Grotty gubinz and the whole thing works so well, almost seamless.

Two Tumblr submissions in one week? The sky must be falling, I’m expecting Livejournal to rise from its grave next. Anyway, we have another horrifying turnip28 creature from Maniak Miniatures, only this one has a certain sweetness about it. Like two muppets got thrown through a woodchipper and fell in love. Awesome.

Finishing off this week with the latest of CerebusXt’s LGBTQA* flag marines project, this time with the green/white/black shades of the Aromantic flag. As always a very cool push for representation, and also evoking some serious envy in us at how smooth and lush those blends are. Like goddamn.
