The Week Ending April 18th, 2020
Although it’s a big internet out there, the Warhammer digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed. Here’s what we liked this week:
In the Wild:
- Rhu’s Legio Vulturum Titans
@rhubard via Twitter
Warhammer Community’s Rhu has clearly been busy during the lockdown, bringing this beautiful titan leagion to life. - A diorama of Sam in Shelob’s layer (ARACHNAPHONES DO NOT CLICK)
@BlackMistSBG via Twitter
Posted in response to Warhammer Community’s request for middle earth picture, this creepy-as-all-get-out diorarama recreates a key moment from Return of the King. - Fukukan Sage, a searchable FAQ app for iOS
Finding what you want across the many available FAQs can sometimes be a complete nightmare, and this unofficial app aims to bring them all together in an easily searchable format. Apparently contains “Infrequent/Mild Mature/Suggestive Themes”, so get hyped for that too. - A beautiful, Harlequin themed take on the Visarch
cegorach_rose via Instagram
You see fewer versions of the Visarch out there than the other two Triumverate members, and this version is especially stunning, using a palate of shaded pinks and purples to give an incredible lighting effect. - Classic art given form as a Necromunda mini
isuppposeitwasinevitable via Instagram
Based off some classic Rogue Trader-era art, this is a very faithful interpretation of an old-school 40K mutant. - A frankly mind-boggling freehanded Custodes Jetbike
edo_paints_miniatures via Instagram
It’s a slightly older post but we only found it this week, so we’ll allow it. Some simply jaw-dropping work using the panels of a FW custodes bike as a canvas. - Black Templars Primaris Captain

Two Words. That. Cape. - Worst Units in 40K Survey
Via Reddit
Innes Wilson is running a community survey on the worst units in 40k. If you really, really hate one of the units in your codex, don’t miss your chance to say so with democracy.
Edit: Literally as we posted this the brackets for the first round of head to head voting between Codex winners went up, see here. - Warhammer Community Preview Online 3
Warhammer community ran their third online preview, and we thought this one was especially cool. - Charging and How to Do It – Goonhammer Guest Post on Warhammer Community
