Rikkit's Tunnelpack from NOVA Open
byu/patches33 inminipainting
Starting off this week’s roundup down and dirty with this take on Warhammer Underworlds’ Rikkit’s Tunnelpack by u/patches33 on reddit, complete with a suitably subterranean display board. There’s some gorgeous contrast on these rats, with the super vibrant robes and gear popping against the grimy natural tones of the rats wearing it all, and the work matching the display to the basing for the figures is downright excellent. A well deserved award won there.
Papercraft Lavos by Sky Burkson on Bluesky
We’re always gonna love custom pieces on CWL, and especially if they’re made out of materials a bit outside of the norm. So this custom Lavos from Chrono Trigger by @skyburkson fits the bill exactly. This big bug is downright awe inspiring, with the four different kinds of cardstock and paper giving it a unique texture compared to putty or plastic. Awe inspiring.
Maryland Knights by Sarah Clancy on Bluesky
Did you know that Tom Clancy’s daughter plays Warhammer? Did you know she has a Knights army? And that Knight army is painted up in the colours of the Maryland flag, objectively the Coolest Flag? These robots is so Goonhammer-mindset it hurts, they’re so, so damn cool.
