The Week Ending August 25, 2019
Although it’s a big internet out there, the Warhammer digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed. Here’s what we liked this week:
In the Wild:
- How to Be Better Painters – Color Wheel and Color Theory for Miniature Painters
The first in a new YouTube series on painting by Marco Frisoni.
- Laura’s Tech-Priest Sacristan
@Pegastyx on Twitter
This thing is just cool as hell.
- Green Glow Tutorial
Carlos put up a great tutorial in the Games Workshop Army Painters group about how he accomplishes his insanely cool green glow effect on undead minis.
- Enforcer Judge Dredd
Dredd owns, and this owns.
- Coda’s Painting Stream
Coda streams at weird hours owing to being in Australia, but it’s worth your time to stop in on his stream when you can.
- Ben May’s Akira Nob Biker
This really appeals to the weeb in me. I love the use of drones for the wheels. It’s just perfect.
Another big week for Goonhammer content, starting with our How to Paint Everything series on Successor Chapters and ending with our reviews of the Ultramarines and White Scars supplements.
- Start Competing: Harlequins Tactics
This week we covered tactics for the Juggalo Space Elves
