Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.
On the Internet at Large
Starting off this week we have a striking Age of Sigmar diorama by ThundercatBRO on reddit, depicting a scuffle between Sigmarites and Sylvaneth. The composition of this piece is some of the best work we’ve seen in a while, the vibrant natural colours of the Sylvaneth drawing the eye everywhere it needs to be onto the drabber, metallic tones of the Ogor and his sniper buddy. Its a careful balancing act of physical modelling and paintwork and it works so well.
Genestealer Cults Benefictus by JC Miniatures
Next up we have a converted Benefictus by JC Miniatures on Bluesky, with a Dark Elf Witch Elf forming the basis for a rather… imposingly foreheaded Cult member. This is such a simple conversion with a bit of greenstuffing and spare Tyranid bitz and you’ve got a character that stands out on the battlefield against the scavenged gear of the official miniatures.
Lesbian Pride Flag Amazon by Ciainhell
Its mfin’ Pride Month once again, and we’re closing this week’s showcase with a pride flag twofer, starting with this Blood Bowl Amazon by Cia on Bluesky. We love the vibrant pinks and oranges of the flag worked into the player’s uniform and the careful placement to sell the inspiration without it becoming overwhelming, as well as the excellent skin tone work on the rest of the figure.
Trans Pride Flag Gundam by Knerrvana
We should give every Trans person a Gundam suit. We’d solve a lot of problems that way imo.
