Carsten’s Ash Wastes Weirdos

We’re pretty universally hyped for the Ash Wastes expansion and it looks like we’re not the only ones. Particularly love the extra-leggy Sentinel and the clever mashups of Genecult and various ganger bitz.
Roman’s “Rain of Vengeance” Diorama

There’s plenty of dioramas out there recreating scenes from Warhammer art, but rare quite so literally. Roman’s piece perfectly captures the composition, colours and aesthetics of something you’d see on the glossy pages of a Codex, here rendered quite literally spilling from the frame. The wounded Marines fighting on and the various servitors and cherubs mixed in amongst the Astartes particularly evoke some wonderful 3rd Edition vibes.
Pinno’s Roman Legion

Its one thing to brag you’re painting this Legion, or that Legion. It’s another to paint a quite literal Legion. These Victrix Romans are fantastic, complete with auxiliaries and even little supply wagons, particularly the detailing on those iconic shields.
Pax Acrylica’s General Radagon, the Red Wolf

You know what’s cool? The Voystroyan Firstborn and the Valhallan Ice Warriors. Know what’s also cool? Guard Commanders who look like they could wrestle a Terminator into the ground. So in walks the kickin’ rad-ly named General Radagon, the Red Wolf in this sweet little conversion from Cursed City’s Radukar and we can’t help but swoon.
