Content We Liked: August 29, 2021

Although it’s a big internet out there, the Warhammer digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.

On the Internet at large

  • David’s Amazing Stormcast bust
    @davidarrobaminiatures via Instagram
    David’s done a fantastic painting job on this bust of a Stormcast Eternal. I love the effects he’s done on the metallics.
  • Porble’s Empire Warmaster Army
    @porblegames via Instagram
    They might be Bretonnians – my recollection on the old world is rusty. But either way, these are a lovely army and it’s cool to showcase tiny scale models here, especially for fantasy stuff.
  • Binx’s Lamenters
    @Binxpaints via Twitter
    These are just lovely. I will absolutely feature every Lamenters army I can find here on CWL. You have Lamenters and want a shout out? Tag @goonhammer when you post them on Twitter and I’ll make it happen.
  • Some amazing Sororitas Cosplay
    @Sunday_slays_cosplay via Instagram
    These are some amazing costumes and it’s even cooler when you have multiple people in on it. Now the question is when are we going to get an entire squad of battle sisters.
  • House De Valdis
    @techmagos_binary via Instagram
    Mark Kilburn does some absolutely amazing conversions of knights and models in the range, and his 3,000-point House De Valdis army is a great example.
  • The Banditomorph
    u/JohnLittleSam via Reddit
    This is a fun conversion for a Kelermorph that really leans into the old west aesthetic.
  • Ricki Smith’s Kasrkin
    @KitBashedGaming via Twitter
    This is a really cool way to use the Necromunda Enforcers to create some Kasrkin models in 40k. Also I love the paint job.
  • Baharroth’s Amazing Marine Suiting Up Diorama
    @BaharrothP via Twitter
    This is an incredible conversion with a ton of details and wonderful Blanchitsu style conversions. Also, it’s an absolute flex to put a real pearl on your minis.
  • A Dunecrawler Deff Dread
    u/sidnee8800
    This is a great conversion of a deff dread made from an Onager Dunecrawler. Great details here, and the paint job is wonderful.
  • Legofingerz paints marines from 45 chapters
    @legofingerz via Instagram
    What an insane flex. These are great, and they’re all painted to an incredibly high standard.
  • Nathaniel’s Skabgrot
    @Natman1982 via Twitter
    Nathan does a great conversion here of one of the new kruleboyz for 40k.
