Content We Liked: July 10, 2022

Although it’s a big internet out there, the Warhammer digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.

On the Internet at Large

Kourat’s Converted Skorpekh Lord

We’re massive fans of any Necron take that moves beyond the traditional metallics and Kourat’s Necrons are a fantastic example of looking outside the box. The heavy stippled neon greens, the clumped foliage and the disjointed silluettes give these deathbots a distinct ookie-spookie aesthetic right off a Misfit’s album cover. It owns.

The most beautifully painted horrific screaming anger waterfoul we’ve ever seen.

Alinda’s Arch-Revenant

Sometimes a model doesn’t need anything more than a fantastic paintjob to really shine as a sculpt and by god this is one of those cases. A few of our team weren’t sure if it wasn’t a 3D render from a game at first, the various textures and textiles of this tree-elf beautifully realised just from paintstrokes alone.

Look, we just love a lil’ guy, a funny tiny fella, a special itty-bitty dude. The very knightly take on his Pusgoyle friends is very sweet as well.
