Content We Liked: October 16th, 2022

Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.

On the Internet at Large

This Hellforged Leviathan really makes a statement with its gloriously grimy paintjob and excellent use of Maggoth parts to hammer home eons of corruption.

Possibly the most iconic piece of Grey Knight art, rendered to life gorgeously with this custom sculpt and some of the slickest NMM we’ve seen in a while. Fantastic.

“Nemesis, Tyrant of the Warp” Archaon woke up on the wrong side of the warp. from ageofsigmar

A deeply inspired conversion of the AoS Archeon kit to create a truly titanic Tyranid beastie, particularly love the Toxicrene tendrils to create the hydra-like whiptails.

Untz untz untz untz. A fantastic use of florescent paints and selective highlighting for a Black Velvet-esque Sylvaneth scheme.

Here are the first five models of my new army! from Warhammer40k

We can only guesstimate at the sheer amount of clean up required to de-Chaosify these former Traitors, but it works so well at creating Guardsmen with a distinctly battleworn, hand-me-down geared look. Good show.

Trolls are cool as hell, especially when they’re painted this well. Particular shout out to the classic ruddy nose, practically glowing red in a wonderfully saturated way.
