Content We Liked: September 13, 2020

Although it’s a big internet out there, the Warhammer digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.

On the Internet at Large

  • A 40k Terrain Train by Sprue Romance
    @Davewri37806584 via Twitter
    This is a wonderfully clever way to make a train in 40k using available parts and I’m absolutely going to make one for my tables as soon as I have my workshop set up.
  • Sick Ambot Big Mek Conversions
    @Blackbeardmini1 via Twitter
    This pair of Bad Moons big meks are wonderful – it’s a smart idea with a great concept and solid execution. Great paint jobs too.
  • Making Necron Terrain
    EonsofBattle via YouTube
    EonsofBattle has a great video on how to make Necron terrain, with free STLs and designs for download to make it easy to print the pieces yourself. They also build everything with traditional hobby methods, and do some cool comparisons between the two.
  • Emilio’s Blanchitsu Tithe Collector
    @ekkius via Instagram
    This is a really cool conversion piece with lots of great details and in true Blanchitsu fashion it’s also very gritty.
  • Some sweet Escher Guard Conversions
    @40kguarddaddy via Instagram
    Eschers make very cool additions to spice up a guard army with newer models, and these are a great example.
  • Borja Garcia’s Lion’el Johnson
    @bgarciafenix via Instagram
    Now that the Lion is out, we’re excited to see all of the amazing paint jobs people are going to throw on it. Borja’s put in an appropriately jaw-dropping submission here.
  • Making terrain billboards
    Iron Gryphon Studio
    This is a great tutorial video on how to make a billboard that in this case has been repurposed and converted into a watch tower. There are a lot of great techniques on display here.
