Last Weekend’s Event

More GTs this week but we have a couple of events to cover including a teams event.

Palladium Games May 40K TEAMS EVENT

(Phoenixville, PA)

First up we have a teams event from Palladium games. Team… Cumster Buddies (a portmanteau of teams Cuddle Buddies and Dumpster Fire I’m sure) won the event presenting a strong and aggressive team composition. With Tau, Drukhari, Chaos Space Marines, and Thousand Sons as the roster, they have an answer for a lot of match ups and often that answer is pure unfiltered pressure.

  • Cumpster Buddies
  • Death by Dumpster Fire
  • Fex Dojo

Alternate Universes May Warhammer 40K Tournament

(East Norriton, PA)

Also in southeastern Pennsylvania, Alternate Universes had its May 40k Tournament. Matt Huber won the event with an aggressive Triple Einhyr Champion list with all the good stuff.

Matt Huber – Leagues of Votann
Luke McCarthy (Stat Check) – Blood Angels (Sons of Sanguinius)
Dominic Rapanotti – Imperial Knights

TJ Cafe & Games May the 4th 40K Tournament

(Milford, MA)

For our other event we have a 40k RTT out of Massachusetts. Cullen Burns won the event with their Votann. The list brought a Brokyr Iron-master, a sick model that does not see the table enough, triple land fortresses, and the usual buttload of Sagitaurs. Heavy mechanized Votann isn’t a concept I’ve seen explored a ton in 10th outside the Sagitaur spam so it’s cool to see it succeeding.

  • Cullen Burns (U.S Army Esports) – Leagues of Votann
  • Casey Glynn (UMP) – Blood Angels
  • Steven Zukowski – Genestealer Cults
