Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.

We’re ending this year with a look back at some of the coolest models that came out over 2023, starting with The Lion in this utterly stunning rendition by Betchen Gretchin. Holy damn that freehand, not only a delicate filigree, but a delicate filigree that blends across colours? Insane dedication, not to mention the really cool Heresy-era inspired choice for black armour with red tones and blends. Easily a winner for the MOTY.

Another contender for top model of 2023, the Warhammer+ Exclusive Vampire is the pinnacle of what a Warhammer Vamp is. Dark regality, deadly and poised, with really dumb hair. This rendition really separates itself out from the pack with the atypical silvery armour and dark skin tones, a great use of contrasting colour and a big departure from the studio schemes for bloodsuckers. Vamptastic.

Nearly completed, Sikh Guardsmen

Okay, TECHNICALLY the updated Cadian kit came out in 2022 with the limited box set, but it wasn’t wide released until 2023 so we’re not breaking out 2023 theme shut up. redditor u/Possible_swimmer_601 adds to the kit’s inherent versatility with some seriously cool custom Sikh-themed heads, adding a cool bit of reputation drawing on historical and modern Sikh soldiers. Sihk as hell.

Okay the theme at this point has completely broken down. We’ve been utterly delighted by Me-U’s posts all year and we’re gonna continue that for as long as they keep posting. Keep up the good work.
