Tabletop Battles Now Supports 10th Edition 40k

Some of you noticed last week when we went live with beta versions of the updated app but we are now excited to announce that Tabletop Battles supports 10th Edition Warhammer 40k, and the update is live right now.

If you haven’t already, go download the app. It is hands-down the best app out there for tracking games of Warhammer 40k, and with support for 10th edition and the Leviathan missions pack there is no better way to track your scores and secondary objectives.

Note: If you already have an Administratum account, that login will also be your Tabletop Battles login – just use the same account you’ve already made. If you are creating a new account, you can use that account for Administratum later!

What’s New in the App?

There are a ton of new things to cover here, all of it related to 10th edition 40k. Let’s briefly cover everything in this new update.

The Leviathan Mission Pack

We’ve got full support for the Leviathan mission pack, building off the intuitive format we already had in place for Tempest of War in 9th edition. You can choose between fixed and tactical secondary objectives for each player and track scoring for each objective in the app each turn. There’s also support for every primary objective, each with its own unique scoring set-up.

Randomization Features

If you’d rather have the app randomize your mission rules, battlefield, and secondaries, we’ve included features to do that for one or both players – no need to shuffle or putz with cards.

Secondary Objective Tracking

Track secondary objectives for both players and simulate the “hand” for each player, tracking when objectives are drawn, scored, or discarded. This makes it easy to keep track of who has what and which secondary objectives are left to be drawn.

Game Reporting and Tracking

We’ve updated our game reporting to incorporate the new secondaries as well, giving you a better view than ever of the narrative of the game and how things went turn-by-turn. You’ll have an unparalleled view of when and how the tide turned, and that’s also included in the same great postgame metrics we provide.

What’s Next

This was a massive update but there’s more in store: We’re working on adding support for the Only War mission in the Core Rules, Combat Patrol, an update to Boarding Actions, and whenever a GT packet drops, we’ll support that too. And those are just the features related to 40k! We’ve got tons of other great stuff in the works, so stay tuned for those updates.

In the meantime, I really cannot stress enough that there is no better way to track and manage your games of 40k than Tabletop Battles. As 40k pushes into a format where tracking on paper is even more of a pain, it’s worth finally taking the plunge into the digital side of things and trying the app out for your games. So if you’ve got games of 10th planned this weekend, download the app and give it a spin. You won’t go back.
