Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.
On the Internet at Large
First on the docket this week is another instalment of “Please click through to this hobbyist’s account PLEASE” with paint_is_yummy’s fantastic Black Templars. Like our own SRM, paint_is_yummy embraces both the garish past of primary colour weapons with flame decals and the super clean, super blended look of modern day mini painting and pulls it off incredibly crisp.
A squad of Enforcers of the Dolosian Provost Skitarii.
I enjoyed my necromunda enforcers so much I have decided to do an entire army in the same style but mechanicum/mechanicus associated for extra bionic gribbliness. #enforcers #admech #adeptusmechanicus #WarhammerCommunity pic.twitter.com/oDuoJzaD8P

The official Skitarii kits are cool but they do lose some of the weirdo wonderfulness of the pre-Codex Ad Mech illustrations. JPMiniatures brings it back however with these kitbashed Ad Mech Enforcers. Befitting the iron-soled boot of the Adeptus Mechanicus, these faceless bullyboys (thanks to the Objectively Coolest part in any GW kit, the Dark Eldar dome helmet) are a gorgeously seemless blend of at least 6 different GW ranges all tied together with a restrained, ominous paint scheme. Aces.
May I proudly present, Archmagos Teraknus Volt, Cybernetica Primus of Atar Median.
Pretty much used all my spares on this
Over the moon with how this has come together and can’t wait till November’s team event at Warhammer World! #warmongers #WarhammerCommunity #horusheresy #30k pic.twitter.com/6X74OLnV4p— Ben Greaves (@HeresyJunkie) October 15, 2023
Keeping up the Techpriest Weirdness levels, @HeresyJunkie gets in on the weaponized armchair arms race with a baroquely imposing Archmagos, flanked by a pair of Skitarii bodyguards. We love the sheer amount of techno-greebles and gizmos strapped to this murderous La-Z-Boy, managing the tight line between looking overly busy and delightfully weird.
Finally this week we have a wonderful scratch built board by lablancheminis, showing the step by step process of building this intensely oldhammer looking henge scene. The ominously open burial mounds, the gnarled dead roots snaking around the stones, the withered and muted palate all add this intense feeling of gazing at an old Warhammer Fantasy illustration. A real nostalgic flash to the past.

Painting and Modelling
Our HTPE Tyranids guide has been updated with a staggering 22 different Hive Fleet schemes and many more generalized tutorials. We also have a feature on painting faces at the eensy weensy 10mm scale for the squintiest amongst us.
The Fluff Corner
Goonhammer Book Club returns with a brighter selection of novels as the bookworms tackle Utopian Science Fiction.
Other Cool Stuff
Games Workshop unleashed violence on us last week with the reveal of the Skitarii Stiltboy. Ever since the Goonhammer offices have been a land divided, hurt feelings and booboos aplenty as our two sides battle it out to decide… is this model dumb cool or dumb dumb?
